About James Frazier Associates, Inc. Company Overview For more than thirty-five years, James Frazier and his associates have been developing a wide range of housing and social service programs that are designed to help those families and individuals who need them most. Now this expertise is available on a daily or hourly basis to other public and private non-profit social service agencies, community organizations, and housing developers. Since 1993 James Frazier Associates, Inc., has been providing technical assistance to the West Perrine Community Development Corporation in Dade County, Florida. A victim of Hurricane Andrew, this courageous CDC fought back by rebuilding its counseling operations literally up from the ground up. Frazier Associates advised them on the design of their new Housing Opportunity Center, its layout and computer system. Frazier Associates installed DATASTARTTM, and trained their housing counselors in Total Quality Counseling? almost from their first day on the job. Frazier Associates currently provides other training and technical assistance as required. The Housing Opportunity Center prepares buyers for the affordable housing units developed by the CDC as well as other housing products in the South Dade metropolitan area. During the summer of 1995 James Frazier Associates conducted an extensive evaluation of half of the housing counseling agencies funded by the Philadelphia Office of Housing and Community Development. That fall following completion of the draft report, a two-day Total Quality Counseling?training program was provided to over 95 administrators and counselors from all of the OHCD funded agencies. Following the release of the final report, a.k.a. "The Frazier Report", the Frazier Associates' contract was extended for an additional year to continue to provide OHCD with technical assistance in implementing the 14 recommendations in the report Frazier Associates has provided agency evaluations and training for the National Puerto Rican Coalition's network of social service agencies in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania and has conducted training for the network of Catholic Charities USA and National Urban League housing counseling agencies.
