The New Look
DATASTARTTM
Version 4
Its new colorful icons give DATASTARTTM a fresh look to the software, although Version 4 contains all of the fine features of the previous version only better. Since its release in June 2001 DATASTARTTM Version 4 has received positive response from existing customers as well as several new customers. The software has been completely rebuilt with all of the latest software components from Delphi 5, the Borland Database Engine and the Shazam Report Wizard, as well as encryption and spell check software and several other software features that strengthen the program and make it more robust. The latest feature called a "table top scanner" will review, fix and reindex the database every time the program is started up, creating an error free database each time, eliminating any corrupted files that may have occurred during previous data entry sessions. Users are going to find the software a bit faster and more responsive. Those with newer computers will find it even faster. We are confident that you will appreciate the improvements and changes to the program. A long overdue overhaul of the Help/Manuel has been completed and is released on the Updates page of the website. As always, if you have any suggestions please email Jim Frazier at james@datastart.org re this help/manual. Web enabled DATASTARTTM Web demonstration of DATASTARTTM Version 4 now enabled. In addition to being able to download the demonstration version from the internet, in addition to the regular demonstration CD, future interested customers will be able to logon to the Frazier Associates Server and test the software on line. (A DSL or equivalent internet connection is highly recommended) This will enable customers to not only review the software but to demonstrate DATASTARTTM's Web capabilities. Frazier Named
