Services Offered
The main vehicle for Frazier Associates services is DATASTARTTM, the counseling, case management and tracking software for the social services. Developed from over 25 years of experience in computerizing the case management data at social service agencies, DATASTARTTM continues to be on the cutting edge of providing agencies with the tool to manage their caseloads, providing their clients, counselors, managers and funders with the accurate and timely information they need.

Training:
1. Using and getting the most out of DATASTARTTM - An overview, screen by screen review, and hands-on exercises .
2. Using the "Shazam Report Wizard(TM)"(writer) and other standard DATASTARTTM reports.
  • Using the existing Shazam reports
  • Using the DATASTARTTM Demographic and HUD-9902 reports
  • Creating your own Shazam reports
  • Getting and posting Shazam/DATASTARTTM reports on the web site www.datastart.org

Taking DATASTARTTM Data to the Next Level:
1.Using higher level statistical programs, such as SPSS or SAS.
2.Using DATASTARTTM data for
  • Program analysis and improvement
  • Management and funder reports
  • Program development (writing proposals)
  • Contributing to public policy and program development discussions

Getting Technical Support on DATASTARTTM:
When you get the error message, type ALT/Print Screen and paste it onto a WordPerfect or Word blank screen and email it to james@datastart.org with a brief narrative as to what you were attempting to do. We will email you the solution back to you.

Using the www.datastart.org Web Site as a Source of Information and Help:
Spend time on our web site. Not only does it contain additional information about DATASTARTTM, but other useful information as well, including links to HUD and other important web sites. No charge.

 Other DATASTARTTM related Frazier Associates services included:
DATASTARTTM Case Management Services will assist agencies in the review of their data, as entered into
DATASTARTTM, including coding consistency, omissions, documentation and case logic as per the case facts such as the services provided, referrals made and actions taken.

DATASTARTTM Information Management Services consists of utilizing the data from the database(c:\ds\data) and other data sources to create a wide range of additional reports, from internal staff productivity reports to sophisticated policy and research community reports.

Total Quality Counseling Training (TQC) consists of the client-agency selecting from a menu of training topics, incorporating the principles of Total Quality and providing a customized training program to meet the needs of the agency.

Coalition-building and Advocacy consists of various strategies for amplifying an organization's voice on policy issues and collective needs. Expertise in planning and executing public hearings, demonstrations, and conferences, producing newsletters and other publications, and lobbying.


Frazier Associates provides a service bureau for its DATASTARTTM, customers.
